Janette Brown

Janette was born in New York where she ignited her passion for dance, and grew up in Sarasota appreciating the arts it offered. She graduated from Riverview High School, then attended State College of Florida where she received an Associates of Arts in Theatre. Still uncertain of her future, Janette pursued a career in Fashion at IADT while working at Saks 5th Avenue and after 15 years with Victoria’s Secret and Express. Thankfully, after years of stressful jobs, taking care of two small children, while going through a difficult divorce she found yoga. She decided to attend Heartwood Yoga Institute for the RYT 200 hour certification which turned into as many hours, certifications, and workshops she could get. This forever yoga student learned that there was so much more to yoga than the physical practice, that we are all growing and searching for enlightenment and that yoga opened the door to physical, mental, and spiritual unity. She hopes to instill the value of yoga to her children Avery and Arden and has the love and support of her life partner Ryan through her journey.

“ Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self” -The Bhagavad Gita
Vince Hulsman RYT 200

After attending my first yoga class I was so deeply moved, I knew then I wanted to share that feeling with others.  If I am able to share that same feeling with even just one other person a part of my journey will have been completed.

A semi-native to FL and 4.5-year resident of Sarasota.  A very proud Father of a daughter and son.  A classically trained Chef become IT Engineer.  And lifelong student.  I have a passion for travel, having been from Fairbanks, AK to Oranjestad, AA and from Cabo san Lucas, MX to Paris, FR.  Seeing all places in between.  I love the water and can usually be found with my toes in the sand.

I have learned that the time I spend on my mat is life’s maintenance.  It is what allows me to remain focused on the road ahead.  Calling on my breath to bring balance to mind and body.

Leilani Messer ECYT 2014, Reiki Level II 2018 & certified Level II sound healer 2022

Hi my name is Leilani, I was displaced to the Sarasota area in 2019 after Hurricane Michael. During my full time hours I screen women for Breast Cancer.
I found yoga a little later in life, at one of the most stressful times of my life; while departing from the USAF and also leaving a toxic marriage. As an Air~force Veteran my goal at the time was to heal my body from all the damage it had endured through the years. Shortly after my venture into my yoga journey, I discovered yoga was helping me heal physically, but also healing deeper layers mentally. I gained  a better perspective on what true strength is.
Yoga became my daily dose of self love. A Vitamin I couldn’t live without and I gained a passion for the practice very quickly.
I decided to become a teacher to help guide others to heal and connect like I have.
I truly love and enjoy sharing my practice with people that crave a harmony with their breath, body, mind, heart & soul.

It will be my pleasure to connect with you.

ECYT 2014, Reiki Level II 2018 & certified Level II sound healer 2022.

Grace Andry Lee RYT 200

Grace Andry-Lee is a 200 RYT, aerial yoga and YogaFit™ certified instructor who has been practicing yoga
for over twenty-five years. She considers herself very fortunate to have started her practice with a richly
experienced teacher trained in India. At that time, Grace recognized the benefits of a regular yoga
practice in bringing balance between her personal and professional life as an HR Executive and licensed
attorney. She also found that yoga strengthened her as an equestrian athlete for three day eventing,
dressage and training young horses, (her other passions). An important component of her practice is
focused on improving the core strength and concentration skills essential for optimal performance at
work and play- particularly horse, golf and tennis play.
Classes merge a blend of Hatha and Vinyasa yoga poses and practices, designed to enhance core
strength, balance, breathing, focus, stamina and flexibility. Grace had her yoga studio in Ocala florida
and also taught yoga classes at Golden Ocala Golf and Equestrian Center, The Ranch Spa and Fitness
Center and the Fitness Center at Fore Ranch. Grace has additional training in yoga for emotional and
physical trauma, the Reiki healing system, meditation and mindfulness and yoga for veterans.
